Yoga Term: Parivritta Namaste Parsvokonasana
With so few twisting poses in the foundational sequence I like to throw this one in. It is the Parsvokonasana pose rotated towards the bent leg and held with a prayer.
Start in Equestrian. Rotate toward the bent leg placing the elbow on the outside of the knee. Bring palms together at the heart. Keep the upper body in line with the leg behind. Head is inline with the body and looking in the direction of the twist.
